Exams have always been a flurry of timetables, checklists, flash cards and heartache. In the current times we students have to do a lot, from studying individual chapters to various subject assignments. Now we won’t get into how to deal with exam stress / pressure because we’ve done it in a different blog. Instead in this blog we’ll be covering how to get rid of all the tiredness ‘after’ the exam. So here’s one more checklist for excellent things you can do after your exams. Because you deserve it!

Plan a trip somewhere

Now we know in the current pandemic time, we can’t travel just like jumping on a train or getting in the car away from everything that is exam-related. Instead in these times it can be done with your friends who are in the same city or even visit your extended family. Now if you can and the pandemic allows, try exploring a new place as it’s always exciting. Go to a famous city or places in your city itself like museums, or trek in the hills amidst the scenic beauty of nature.

Catch up on movies/books/Tv/Web series that you missed

This is the perfect getaway for the 21st century millennials like us. It’s pretty obvious that you might have missed out on so many new OTT releases because of your exams. Similarly, unfinished books are not pleasant at all. So don’t hold up, just go and binge watch that TV/Web series that you might have put a hold on. ‘Money Heist’ isn’t going to watch itself…

Let your creative juices flow

If you’re someone who likes to keep it to yourself, then it’s time to take out those brushes and tubes of paint and be a Picasso. Not into painting? No problem, take the shiny special fountain pen and let out the Shakespeare in you, or discover your inner AR Rahman or even make a scrapbook. There are so many hobbies you can involve yourself into. Photography, mastering martial arts, singing, learning a new music instrument, are some examples and the best part? you can do all of the above even from the comfort of your home!

Start your own YouTube Channel

Tech savvy people! This one’s for you. All you need is a smartphone with internet connectivity and your amazing self. Get an idea or two from famous vloggers online and start your own. See what you can share with the world. As they say experience is the best teacher, you’ll learn how to record videos using different camera angles, edit a video with time and experience and create online fame for yourself. Some of you may say, why only YouTube? Yes, why only YouTube, you can use other social platforms like, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Quora, Pinterest and many more. So just go online and be your best!

Play sports and games

Many of you might have wondered, what’s for sports fanatics and fitness freaks? Well we’ve got it covered as well buddy. Many of you might have had to give up your favorite sport owing to academic pressures. Playing sports is like a breath of fresh air. Be it cricket, badminton, football or even basketball, sports are a great stress buster. So go out to your playing arena or GYM and sweat out all of your exam stress. You can also go for swimming classes, Zumba or any dance class if you’re not into physical sports and keep yourself fit and ready for another year at school.

All in all, exams for most of us are over, and it’s nothing but a huge relief. We all know that this relief is short term and we’ve to gear ourselves for the next term. So what better way than above mentioned to give you a break and start fresh. Now stress relief ways aren’t limited and can be different for each one of us, so go ahead and be stress free in your own way.

Until next time, ENJOY!
