Friends are common, but all of us do have a best friend. Now, what makes a best friend different from a friend? The word best at the start. We call them best for a reason.

It is the one and only person to whom you can go when your world is upside down. Common now, don’t tell me you do not have one. I am sure while reading this, someone’s image popped into your mind, didn’t it?

Just like these books have been the best friends of humans since their existence. With the answers to almost all the questions, encapsulated in readable text, there is no better option.

A major transition

All had been going well, until the introduction of technology. It is almost like the introduction of a third person between you and your best friend. It is annoying, right?

Well, technology did as expected between humans and books. With advancements in every field daily and the availability of the same, it took no time in replacing books.

Even for students like us. Don’t believe us, you will. Just pull your phone out, and check how many notes you have on your phone. Difficult to carry a pen and paper to class, huh? Or is it just that simple :)

Lockdown only aggravated the situation. With laptops and mobiles in every home, a student has come far from reading books now.

Is it that bad?

What all is written above, is a viewpoint, written by yours truly based on observation of what happens around us? But online learning is not so bad now is it?

It is just like when Ross and Chandler, met Joey. They took their own time to warm up to each other. But in the end, all was fine right?

Similarly, it is with books and E-Learning. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Books cannot blame students for that transition now. Online learning has so much to offer –

A. Convenience of time and location

B. Free learning

C. Learning at your pace

D. Easy access

Students these days are as it is so caught up, that they need it to remain in the game. Still, some old school students are there, who learn through books, because it suits them.

Books or Internet?

The answer is both. After class 9th students experience a new level of learning. So instead of getting into the argument of which is better, see what works the best for you.
