Can an Introvert Become a Topper?
In your classroom, you can find a variety of students. Judging from an academic point of view, there are average, good, toppers and the one who is more in the teacher’s room than in class. You get it right?
Now, once in a while have you felt like, you can be a topper? Inflating the balloon of our ego is the worst thing we can do, but this is different. This is more like uplifting ourselves. But what if you are an introvert?
Introverts are often mistaken for lacking social skills and not knowing how to communicate. But as a matter of fact, introverts are the best communicators.
They value deep and meaningful conversations with people they are interested in. Given the right environment and the right company, they can be more fun and interactive than an outgoing person is.
So the next time, you want to hang out with that silent friend of yours, try going to a quiet place and getting her a warm cup of coffee. Maybe you guys will hit it off.
Perks of being an introvert
The first perk of being an introvert is less drama. See, when you avoid people, you stay away from a lot of arguments, confrontations, and interactions that are no good, other than stealing your mental peace.
And your mental peace is your responsibility. See, you have a lot to study, so bust your brains trying to understand a concept, and not on why did she not text you when she said she would.
The second perk is derived from the first one. Fewer people means getting to spend more time with yourself. Having time to analyze yourself>>>>Hanging out with a bunch of guys. You know what to pick, aren’t the number of signs enough?
Having an analysis of yourself you know what works the best for you, to get you ahead of the rest. So you end up placing yourself in a much better position.
Be a topper while being an introvert
Now, as an introvert, the toughest job or task is to speak. It is not that introverts do it on purpose, but just who they are. Which is completely normal.
But still, you cannot let the barrier of communication get in the way of you becoming a topper right?
Ok, no more stories, we will give you what you want. Here are a few tips to go by to be a topper, while staying inside your cocoon:
A. Find a good spot
B. Be your own best friend
C. Find an introvert partner to study with
As an introvert, something that matters the most to you would be your personal space. Make sure, you have a well-suited spot to study at.
It could be the favorite corner of your home, maybe the bench in the secluded corner of the park, or pick up your laptop and sit in that aesthetic café for a while if that suits you.
The environment you are in will set the mood for what you are about to do. So being in the right place is important.
As an introvert, you spend a whole lot of time with yourself. But being your best friend is more than that. Motivate yourself to achieve all that you want. Respect yourself, by acting upon what you decide.
Suppose, to improve your vocabulary, you decide to read. Pick up that book and get on with it. Once you start respecting your decisions, you will be able to motivate yourself enough, to get that A1 on your report card.
The last one is tricky. Because for that you do have to engage in a little bit of a conversation. But if you do find someone with a mentality like yourself, do not leave them behind. Turns out you both face the same issues and studying together just clears the air, so go for it.
