A lot of people are having trouble with math and are looking for ways to improve their grades. There are many different methods that you can try to boost your marks. In math. One option is to do a lot of practice problems and take a few practice tests. There are also many different resources online that can help you study for your next exam, such as Channels on Youtube, Unacademy, Phyiscswallah, and of course DoubtConnect.
Which chapters to target
- You should cover all the crucial subjects listed in the table of this article under the important chapters of math for the CBSE Class 12th board exam, “Relations and Functions (Relations and Functions and Inverse Trigonometric Functions Chapter). This is worth a total of 8 marks.
- The chapter Matrices and Determinant is significant for the CBSE Class 12 Math board exam. It can be simply covered in less time, and the CBSE syllabus states that it will be worth a total of 10 marks on the math exam.
- Some parts of “Calculus” are simpler than the rest. Additionally, while the chapter is worth a total of 35 marks, you should complete the simpler sections of it rather than skipping the entire chapter. Continuity and Differentiability, Higher-order Derivative, Rate of Increase or Decrease of water, Increasing and Decreasing Function, and Maxima Minima Word Problem.
- The chapter “Vectors and three-Dimensional geometry” is again crucial and something that people take lightly. The “Vector component” is the simpler section of this chapter, which you may quickly complete.
The best way to prepare for the exam
There’s only one best way to prepare for math by practicing. Practicing is about getting used to solving questions and doing problems in a timed environment. You can do timed tests or find a friend who will help you with your studying by doing problems with you for a few hours each day.

Practicing with a friend is about evaluating your understanding of the material and whether there are any gaps in your knowledge. You and your friend can cover different topics to see if you are on the same page or if you need to revisit something.
