Is it too Late to take a Drop for IIT-JEE?
You might be thinking to yourself that you’re in a stuck loop, not able to focus, can’t see anything ahead, tons of backlog and a lot of pressure, we understand. We can imagine in what loop you’re stuck in and what you want.
Okay.. We might take you out of this? But is it worth it? Do I have enough time to get back to the track and still make it?
Well, It’s never too late and to be honest, It’s better late than never. It depends on you, what’s your need, how badly do you want it?
And there are n number of examples who started late and even made it to IIT Delhi, one of them is Nishant Jindal AIR 247 Advance, in just 4 months he was able to clear Advance.
3 Important points to remember before taking a drop.
- Test Yourself
Yes, most probably you don’t want to end up like last time, right? And how do you define that? By not doing all those previous mistakes that you committed last time. If you were not able to give 8 hours per day or you have a habit of using social media frequently then take a challenge and then see, If you prove yourself right or wrong, then go ahead with a drop. - It is a NEW journey
Start it as off a new journey towards your goal, you are willing to sacrifice anything that comes in between this and you. You literally need to go mad after this as you merely have a few months left. Don’t overthink what happened in the past and nor completely forget it too as you need to maintain a complete balance. - Consistency Supremacy>>>
Hands down to this one thing, all things apart and this on the other side, Literally Consistency is the key for success, Work 8 hours a day for all 10 days or 16 hours for 5 days it’s literally your call.
So now the question arises, What are the steps to get back on track?
- First of all, cope up with what you’re going through right now, your classes, Dpp’s, practice sheets. You might feel like that going with the backlog first will help you more, but trust me, completing this first will give you confidence and that’s what is required the most right now.
- “It’s not you, It’s me”
Well, that’s life to all of us, It’s not just you, it’s everyone. Everyone is going through the same shit. Everything will be alright, just keep pushing hard, keep pulling yourself, trust me, you’ll get through this, Don’t worry. Just keep your morale high!
So Basically, Those were the main key points you need to remember while considering Drop as an option, Remember It’s never too late, what determines that you’ll succeed in this or not is your need, your desperation for that. Wish you good luck!
