Term 2 CBSE BOARDS? How to move forward?
Half of you might be on the revision side, Half might be starting with the revision period and the majority might have not started yet. Yeah! That’s the Board examination for you.
You’re in the stage where you’re just running without anything, You don’t know where you’re and where you’re leading to.
“How will I complete such a big syllabus in such a small span of time?”
“When will I get time for revision?”
See, one thing is pretty clear, if the syllabus is big, it’s not just for you, it’s for everyone. The difference is just that, some might have started very early or many are just there where you’re.
They say, “Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.” And it’s kinda true.
It is still not late, You have as good a time as someone who is just starting and came back to sense after the term 1 after-party.
As of now, let’s say you have more than 1–1.5 months, Term 2 is gonna be subjective, so for sure it’ll be a bit easier compared to what the gigantic term 1 objective was.
Now let’s talk about your syllabus.
The syllabus is fixed and short, I may have to take back my word “Short” looking at your red eyes in pain. But that’s the reality, we have to admit it, by hook or crook you have to complete your syllabus.
And if you won’t be a little positive about it, it ever won’t.
#Myth.
One of the biggest myths around board exams or any other exam is syllabus completion. That for good marks you need to complete the whole syllabus, well the game is other around.
It’s not about how far you have completed the syllabus it’s about, how good you’re at it, how deeply you know about the thing, and moreover how specific you have studied.
Further in this reading, I’m gonna let you know a few resources which will be super specific to your board examination.
- For Physics
You can refer to Aman Dhattarwal’s long marathon runs on Unacademy Special classes, well it’s free for all and they have discussed the major previous year's questions and the important theory all in 2–3 hours of lecture. It’s fun tbh.
Moreover, there are a number of YouTube channels from where you can complete your syllabus with the marathon classes from Physics Wallah, Apni Kaksha or any other physics channel.
- For Mathematics
Stick to your NCERT at first. It doesn’t really matter how good you’re at solving maths or how far you can go in terms of difficulty. All matters in the examination are the sets of questions you have practiced earlier.
Don’t forget the previous year's questions. Buy a set of previous year questions from the market and practice from it again and again. There are at least 70% of the questions which will be repeated and you definitely don’t wanna miss them.
- For Chemistry
There’s nothing much to say, just stick to NCERT. NCERT is your everything in this. Do anything and everything when it comes to NCERT basically, all those back exercises, exceptions, and the theory. Nothing is gonna come out of NCERT (which trend says).
By far, if you are done with all this, you don’t need to worry much after this. Listen, “Board exams are gonna be the easiest exams of your life.”At last, it’s you who is gonna do everything. Only a few more months are left and I know you don’t wanna risk them in anyways.
