Just a couple of days back, we overheard a few of our friends discussing studies. At first, we were surprised, but then it hit us that exams are round the corner, so it was pretty obvious.

Besides the general lies that both of them had just started, one aspect of their intellectual convo caught our attention. One said that he studied the best during the day, while the other one turned out to be a night owl.

What do you feel is noticeable here? That besides both of them not telling the truth? Correct, it is the time at which they study. We can say that they both have different study patterns.

What is a study pattern?

It is a routine you follow for your studies, with or without noticing the same. It varies from student to student depending on their intellectual level and the amount of hard work that is being put in.

Now, just like every student has different capabilities, their study pattern can prove to be different too. It is just that a student who can recognize the pattern can ultimately use it to their benefit.

Therefore, giving them the required boost in their studies, with a little effort. If you are one of the students, who has still not recognized their pattern yet, do not worry this blog will probably resolve your issue.

How can you recognize your pattern?

The most basic thing you can start with is noticing the time of the day when you feel like you can study. Do not confuse studies with finishing an assignment before the deadline or sitting with open books in front of your parents.

TBH, if you are doing this in front of dad when he comes back from the office, he will probably be more interested in watching the news. So you can probably close your books and sleep well at least.

But jokes apart, there are four time periods during the day. Morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime. The most common pattern students tend to pick up is studying during the day or nighttime.

How can you use it to your advantage?

So once you can recognize the time that you sit to study all you have to do is utilize it to the fullest. Break down your syllabus into parts. Picking up what you feel is difficult would be a wiser choice, as the time you have decided you would be able to dedicate it completely to your studies.

Once the pattern is set, plan carefully what you have to cover in the amount of time you are studying. Pre-planning would help you have a clear mental image of what all needs to be done at that period.

If it is that time of the year when it’s done or dead. Just increase the period of how much you sit and cover up. A perk of this time is, that you will be able to avoid distractions by yourself.
