Why do you need a change in your schedule?
It’s 1:30 a.m. and you still haven’t slept, your eyes are scrolling through your Instagram reels trying to find something funny or informative that is of no use for you tbh. You have your assignments pending, your mom shouts at you every day for waking up this late and you literally have no idea of what’s happening and why this is happening. Welcome to Hell, my friend.

So Another day you get up and by mistake, you open this article thinking that this will motivate you to change. It may or may not but the one who’s gonna bring change in your life is YOU!
Have you ever thought about where the problem arises? The answer is also within you. Think of the last time when you were pushing your math homework to some other time or that extra class that you didn’t want to go to. You have the answer, you PROCRASTINATE.
Well, the simple meaning of Procrastination is delaying your habits or not following them but in contrast, Procrastination is itself a habit as it distracts you constantly from not doing the harder part of your day. And Until and unless you find a permanent solution for this problem, it will be very hard for you to overcome this and succeed.
Well, we have the solution.
STORYTIME
So Imagine that your mind is a ship and you’re the captain with one crew member, a monkey. So right now, you’re sailing, and suddenly the monkey takes control of your hand and goes mad, sailing it here and there. Now relate it to yourself, you’re going fine with your day and suddenly when something is important then you don’t want to do that work and watch reels instead.
SHUT UP
You need to change this cycle, and that is why you need to change your schedule.
Now, How to bring this Change?
See, you don’t need to be Napoleon on the very first day to be strict on yourself but you need to eat that frog day by day. Even if you do a mere 5% change in your schedule each day, you’ll be ready by the end of the week for a change. You literally need to push yourself to get out of this loop.
Let’s look at a few ways by which you can start.
- Try waking up early
I know, this is the hardest, but the most powerful. It gives you immense confidence for the day.
The bright sun is one of the best parts of the morning.
- Try Reading daily for at least 15 mins
These few minutes are enough to bring a change. Either Newspapers, Novels, or Articles try reading something that gives you the knowledge and of course, improves your communication skills. It helps you in both ways.
- Exercise
Exercise just as little as 7 minutes a day and keep yourself healthy and fit and that too you’re building a habit for yourself. It might contain a few pushups or bench rolls whatever fits for you just to get you on a schedule.
- Spend time with your Family
How is that even a habit? But have you ever realized how much dedicated you are to them? Either you’re busy on your phone for half of the time or they’re busy with something.
But this practice will help you to build a good relationship with them and a routine too.
